A little about my background ...

Born in Savannah, Georgia, I have enjoyed a life of interesting twists and turns that has taken me to far-flung locales around the globe:  Kenya, Russia, Japan, several countries in Europe, and numerous countries up and down the Western Hemisphere. But, today I call Golden, Colorado, home and am determined to stay put ...!

     Working and living among people of different lifestyles, faiths, and ethnicities has provided me with a perspective that's tolerant and understanding of many issues.

      My diverse worklife has also crafted my personality and who I am today.  I have worked in the communications industry -  in broadcasting, advertising and public relations - for a wide variety of clients in industries such as tourism, real estate and development, and technology.  I have lobbied in Washington, D.C. for clean energy and water.  I have run two non-profits, and two for-profits.

      Today I run the IX Power Foundation which is working on a number of different projects both here in Colorado, and hopefully soon in Bangladesh and other countries heavily affected by contaminated water issues.
